      Before trying this movement you should be able to perform a One Arm Plank on the ground.

      A One Arm Plank Ring begins by finding a good plank position with the fingers forward and the hands placed under the shoulder blades. Brace hard before shifting the weight over one hand and don’t let the hips or shoulders drop as your raise your hand. Press hard into the supporting arm and keep the ring and strap tight to your body. There shouldn’t be any sag in the spine, hips or shoulders.
