      Kettlebells are best used for swing based motions. All kettlebell swing variations are based on a powerful hip extension. Repetitive, explosive hip extensions are a great training tool, developing both technique and work capacity. The most advanced of these swing variations is the kettlebell snatch. Snatch means bringing the kettlebell all the way overhead in one uninterrupted motion.

      The kettlebell snatch is not especially hard to learn, but there are a few details which will help you get the most out of this great training movement. Failing to get the details right will cause you to hurt your forearm unnecessarily and keep you from getting the best results from your effort.
